Miniatures of the Union Pacific buildings in Ellis,Kansas. The buildings are built from HO sale blue prints drawn by Robert Odland. There are about 30-35 buildings in all. As I finish each building it will be placed in the Railroad museum in Ellis,Kansas

The building starts to take shape
Progress as of today. The wall are together, the windows are in the machine shop portion, the gantry crane in installed and a portion of the roof and sky lites are in over the machine shop. Next comes the wiring for lights in the machine shop(I hope). Still a lot of work to be done before I can call this on finished. The tar and gravel roof over the gantry crane area was fun. Black paint and white glue served as the tar while three different colors of ballast mixed together supplied the gravel.
