After several other building had been completed I decided to build a layout for them to set on. The layout would eventually take up a lot of space so I decided to make it in small sections. The first would be the hotel, district office and the depot. The area originally occupied from Washington street to Dorance street. The layout would include not only the three building but also the railroad park with the fence around it. The fence includes over 400 fence posts and double railings. Track and light fixtures concluded this layout This module is now in the railroad museum in Ellis.
